I already had a Scrabble dictionary that was much more current. I bought the dictionary assuming it was somewhere near current. Imagine my disappointment to find that it was had a copyright of 1979. Living in New Zealand, I can get a refund if I spend twice the amount of the refund to post the book back to the U.S. All in all, not a satisfied custormer.
Lots of new words that were not recognized in the prior edition. Takes the game to new level of play and learning.
Even if you only play scrabble on occasion, you have got to own one of these dictionaries. Not only will you become a better player your families vocabulary will blossom.
I am very satisfied with the book. I may purchase another for myself. Great condition. I gave it as a birthday present and she was very happy with it. In the back of the book is a listing of 2 letter words and also other words using the letter Q in it. Other listing too but to much to write about.
My friends, my husband and I couldn't play the game of Scrabble without it. We would fight too much. The book was used but in excellent shape.
